Live Sessions
Live Sessions turn UniMatrix from solo study into something you do together, in real time. A host runs a shared session — a study group, a class, a tutoring session — and others join to learn alongside them. Sessions can run as a normal Chat session or, on premium plans, as a Synapse live-video session.
Hosting a session
Section titled “Hosting a session”-
Start a session
From Live Sessions, choose to host. Pick the mode (Chat or Synapse), and set the level and subject/topic so the session is pitched correctly.
-
Set session goals
Add session goals — what you want the group to come away understanding. These keep the session focused and give the AI direction.
-
Generate a slide deck (optional)
UniMatrix can generate a slide outline for your session from the topic — a ready structure to teach from, so you’re not building a lesson from scratch.
-
Share the link
Share the session link with your participants. Anyone with the link can request to join.
-
Approve who joins
Joiners appear under Pending Access Requests. Approve the people you want in; you stay in control of who’s in the room. You can add participants as you go.
-
Run it — and extend if needed
Teach, take questions, and run a group quiz if you want to check understanding. If you’re running out of time, you can extend the session.
Joining a session
Section titled “Joining a session”-
Open the link
Open the session link the host shared with you.
-
Request to join
You’ll request access and then see “Waiting for the host to approve your request to join…” until the host lets you in.
-
Take part
Once approved, you’re in the live session — follow along, ask questions, and take the group quiz if the host runs one.
Group quizzes
Section titled “Group quizzes”A host can run a shared quiz during a session. Everyone takes the same set of questions, and results are recorded — a quick, fair way to check that the group actually understood the material. See Quizzes for how quizzes work.
