Credits & Usage

A credit is the unit UniMatrix bills work in. One balance covers everything — tutoring, code, files, images, live sessions, voice — so you never have to think about which meter you are on.

PlanAllowanceResets
Free50 creditsEvery day at 00:00 UTC
Standard1,700 creditsEvery billing cycle
Premium5,000 creditsEvery billing cycle
Sovereign25,000 creditsEvery billing cycle

Members of an organisation spend their own credits first, then the organisation’s shared pool.

Chat replies are metered by length, per plan. A one-line answer costs about one credit; a long, worked explanation costs more, up to a ceiling set by your plan. That means a short question is cheap on every plan, and only the answers that genuinely do more work cost more.

Reply on SPARK (Free)from 1 credit
Reply on NOVA / ORACLE (paid)from 3 credits
Spoken reply (voice on)+2 credits
Attaching a file to a message3 credits per file

Attachment limits per message: 4 on Free, 10 on Standard, 20 on Premium and Sovereign.

Built files are charged by how much was actually built, not by a flat fee — a two-page document and a forty-page one are not the same job. Cost is a base plus a per-unit amount, where a unit is a page (or a slide, for a deck) and dense text counts even on few pages.

Only the host is charged for a session. Joining one is free.

Settings → Credits shows your current balance, when it next resets, and a history of what has been spent and on what. Every charge is recorded against the action that caused it, so a surprising number always has an explanation attached to it.

Actions that cost more than you have left are refused before any work starts, with a message saying so — you are never charged for a half-finished answer. On Free the balance returns the next day; on a paid plan it returns at the start of the next cycle, or you can upgrade for a larger pool immediately.

A charge that doesn’t deliver is refunded. Some actions are paid for before the work is attempted — hosting a session, sending an email through a connector, saving a file to Drive, creating a calendar event. If the work then fails for any reason, including the other service timing out, the credits go back. You are charged for what you got.
